Kylie Stillman Elephant Paths
1 - 22 March
Stillman draws, stretches, stitches, paints and perforates shapes and lines of nuanced movement perceptible in her world: a sphere of moon rising on a short winter’s eve; a gum leaf fallen on a street near the artist’s home; the repetitive motion of hands and fingers as she sews. Through two-dimensional illusionism and three-dimensional reality, transient forms and trajectories become magnified in Stillman’s practice.
