Samson West Tjupurrula

Samson comes from a family of highly regarded Papunya Tula Artists. He is the son of Freddy West Tjakamarra, one of the original shareholders of Papunya Tula Artists. His mother Payu Napaljtarri as well as his brothers; Bobby West Tjupurrula, Joey West Tjupurrula and John West Tjupurrula and John John West Tjupurrula all paint for the company.

Samson West has only recently begun painting for Papunya Tula Artists and is in the early stages of their career.
